Mom's Ripe Old Age of Forty

Have you noticed how my mom has been steering around her birthday, lately? If asked how old she was turning, she would reply, "39." But in reality, she's turning 40....

Rather crazy photo of Mom gasping at the idea of turning 40

Grant, appalled at my having the camera and taking pictures of him and Mom.

It's Been a While

This blog has been neglected too long. It is time to start tapping in words that will create a "picture". By the way, my name is Avonlea and I am the oldest of Mom and Dad's four children. I am fourteen and have a passion for animals and music. I also love taking pictures and I will hopefully overwhelm you with pictures of cats, snow, birds, and more! Enjoy.........
